Mini Fridge – Essential - Home - Home Accessories

This morning I was sitting in my garden and going through the News Paper and having a cup of coffee. I heard some one at the entrance calling me. I turned right and saw Henry my next door neighbor standing. I wished him good morning and asked him to join me. I offered him a cup of coffee. Henry is a very good Guitarist. He plays Acoustic Electric Guitar. He has a music school and is well known in music circle. I attended his marriage reception in Jun 2009. He is married to Sandy. They are blessed with a son Jan this year.

He was looking a bit worried. I thought he wants to discuss some thing so I asked him for purpose of his visit. With out any hesitation he informed me that his wife does not have a sound sleep at night. The baby is to be fed twice every night. So Sandy has to get up every night twice and go to kitchen to bring milk from fridge. It takes long for her to get back to sleep after every feed. The milk cannot be kept at bed side because it gets warm within three to four hours.

I advised him that walking to and fro to kitchen disturbs the sleep. So if you have a refrigerator in your bed room then she will not have to walk to kitchen. No I don't mean a conventional refrigerator for your bed room in stead small one will serve the purpose for keeping the feeding bottle cool. You can also use it for cooling beer in that. One of my colleague Brody has recently bought one Haier Mini Fridge to serve the same need in his house and the result was now his wife does not have a disturbed sleep as she does not have to walk to fetch the milk for the baby. He told he saw many other brand like Danby, Magic Chef etc are available. He found these all in Google search.

Henry was very pleased with my suggestion and informed that he will immediately discuss about this with wife and choose a model from net that will shoot dcor of the room. He thanked me and went with a smiling face. I too was very happy because I could help my neighbor by sharing the information that I got from my colleague Brody. I am further interested to know if buys one of the specimen mentioned above. I will be asking him next week.

Green Electric Mopeds Good For the Environment - Autos - Motorcycles

Electric mopeds are not powered by a gas engine, but with a motor powered by electric batteries. And are powered by an electric motor and offer those who are environmentally conscience a good source of alternative transportation. Electric mopeds are great to have and many people love to use them when trying to save on gas and the environment. Green Electric go peds are designed to carry a maximum rider weight of 220 lbs. Electric mopeds are silent, can travel up to 50 kilometer and can be recharged using a domestic power point. All Electric Mopeds are street legal, running from over 40 to over 60mph depending on model. Today, green electric scooters are just as powerful as their gasoline-powered counterparts, with the added advantage of being virtually silent, clean green machines that can plug into a standard electrical socket to recharge.

Cost

Electric mopeds can cost more than gas mopeds, but they can also be a great investment since they do not require gas. Modern History The popularity of mopeds has been occasionally boosted by the ever-rising cost of gasoline. If you live in a large city, parking fees will push your vehicle costs even higher. Green Electric mopeds are even cheaper than a gas powered one, some costing as little as $700. Electric Scooters have a low maintenance cost and less maintenance as compared to gas scooters and gas vehicles. The fuel costs for electric power are approximately 25% the cost of gasoline power (US, mid-2008). Batteries may also need to be replaced every 3-5 years, the costs of which need to be considered. A distance of few miles with a green moped scooter will cost you around $2 while a large car will charge $100 for the same distance1 year ago. And if you have a 15 mile commute, an electric moped will save you about $1000 per year on fuel costs just for that commute as com pared to a 28 mpg car.

Environment

They are environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and easy and cheap to refuel. Green Electric mopeds are relatively inexpensive and they do not need gas so they are cheaper and have less of an impact on the environment. Rising gas prices and environmentally conscious travelers have combined to boost the popularity. Green Electric mobility scooters are great because there is no noise or pollution to the environment.

Green Electric mopeds are great to have and many people love to use them when trying to save on gas. And are the best solution to stop cars from polluting and destroying our local and global environment. You can also feel safe knowing that electric scooters and electric gopeds are better for everyone, because no one has to breathe in gas fumes. We believe that right now electric mopeds are the better selection. Because electric e peds are not powered by any type of fuel, they will not pollute the air with carbon emissions which is detrimental to our environment. All of our green electric motor scooters are DOT certified Motor Vehicles. These funky "Mod" style electric motor scooters are endless fun.

The love and hate relationship of carbohydrates and love handles. - Health - Fitness

Have you been scanning food labels longer than usual to compare which ones offer the lowest amount of carbohydrates to aid in how to get rid of love handles?

Carbohydrates are not the evil that people think them to be if you understand how they work. They actually perform crucial roles in the body. Carbohydrate nutrition is a totally misunderstood thing. Truth is there is no dietary requirement for carbohydrates. This is why the love handles and carbohydrates have a love and hate relationship. The carbohyrdrates hate the love handles and their lazy ways.

Carbohydrates provide more fuel for physical activity than protein or fat. This is very important to consider with weight loss. Glycogen level is high when the diet has a rich carbohydrate content. Diets rich in protein results in a not-so-high glycogen level, and a high fat diet can cause the lowest glycogen level.

Carbohydrate nutrition has been stirred by the low-carb issues. Foods that are said to contain low-carbohydrates may not be what they claim to be. A lot of foods that claim to contain less carbohydrates than some others may actually contain more sugar so as not to lose the taste that people love. Thus, these are not healthier choices than those containing the regular carbohydrates.

Carbohydrates are the best source of energy in the body. Complex carbohydrates like starches are the ones which contain the necessary nutrients.

Many foods rich in starch like bread and cereals are actually low in fat and calories. However, eating large servings of these foods and eating them with other high-fat foods can raise the fat and calorie content. A low carbohydrate intake can result to low sugar level and weak body mobility.

Carbohydrate nutrition can be confusing as integral calculus if you entertain what everyone has to say about it. There are many myths out there. The love handles love these myths and rumors because they want to remain by your side.

However, there are several antiaging types of nutrition that may slow down one's aging "speed" and help with weight loss at the same time.

One of the most common antiaging nutrition that people have been turning to is taking in antioxidants to help with weight control.

This particular nutrition includes fruits and vegetables which help fight the free radicals and other harmful substances that speed up the aging process.

Turning to nutrition also protect the brain from damage which can result to memory loss associated with aging. Good nutrition does not only focus on helping you look younger and keep fit.

Reducing your calorie intake is part of a whole nutrition regimen with weight loss. Studied have confirmed that too much calorie intake leads to age-related diseases. Changing you eating pattern to increase fitness with nutrition in place of the harmful substances will bring you more than the physical rewards of weight loss.

Exercise is a good way to delay aging and for weight loss. Older people who are inactive will lessen any or all of these four areas of staying healthy: strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance.

Finally, good nutrition does not stop with what you eat. Sleeping well is an important factor to reduce the rate of aging and to aid in the proper weight loss management. Lack of sleep can likewise lead to lack of mental alertness which leads to unhealthy habits.

My Experience Of The Yukon, Canada

The Yukon, Canada

The Yukon is basically a territory or State in the North West of Canada. The territory is named after the Yukon river which gently meanders through. Except of course in winter when it stops flowing, more on that later. The Yukon is a massive place, almost the size of France. There are only 32,000 people living in the Yukon and 28,000 of them live in the capital city of Whitehorse. This really gives you an idea of how vast and remote the Yukon is. This is real hardcore wilderness.

In summer the Yukon is a massive playground which attracts thousands of tourists who are looking for adventure. The landscape is rutted with massive mountain ranges. The highest peak, Mount Logan reaching a staggering 19,551 feet! The area has many large lakes and hundreds of rivers mainly being fed by snow melt. People travel the rivers on canoe and kayak and camp out under the stars. The capital city swell in summer with tourists looking for adventure and fun. The city has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere and really does thrive on tourism.

My Experiences - A Very Cold Welcome

However I was there in January. And winter has a very different feel. When we got off the plane in Whitehorse we were welcomed by our guide for the week, Scott. Welcome to the frozen North were his first words. And he was not kidding! -25 was the temperature as we stepped out of the airport. Within a second the inside of my nostrils froze and I must admit I panicked slightly, much to the amusement of Scott. He assured me this was normal and I would get used to it. Its when you eyes freeze shut you need to worry he goaded. Our plan for the week was to spend five nights in a cabin on Lake Laberge which is about 50 miles North of Whitehorse. Then back into Whitehorse too spend two nights recovering in a hotel and then the flight back to Vancouver.

So Scott first of all took us into Whitehorse to pick up supplies. He took us to a large supermarket which had everything we would need in the food department. One thing to note about the Yukon is the prices. Most items were about 30% more expensive here than anywhere else in Canada. This is simply because they have to drive everything in, and most of us have seen the show 'Ice road truckers'! We also stopped of at the liquor store to get some beers in. Now this is one thing that really shocked us, beer is very very expensive! I would say almost three times as expensive as buying booze from the off licence in the UK. So our rather modest supply of beer came to over $100! Ouch!

Heading Out Into The Wilds

We left town and headed North. We were travelling on the famous Alaska highway, and wow, what a road. The scenery is breath taking, the road is just a long white sheet of ice. I could not get my head round how we were travelling at 50mph with no worries. Scott told up how you learn to drive on the ice and it just comes as second nature. Although this area has an average winter temperature of -18 it doesn't usually snow that much. They have about 3ft of snow in an average winter, which compared to areas of British Columbia is nothing! Scott was telling us that no matter how cold it gets people function, schools stay open, business run and people venture out quite happily. We were informed they had just had a foot of snow in the days leading up to our arrival, which was unusual but great news for us! The 6 mile track we had to drive down to our cabin was interesting. I have no idea how that van got through the snow!

Our cabins were so remote it was unreal. Ten miles to the nearest inhabited house, and that we were told was where to head if there was an emergency! Hmmmmm, that was a worry! There was no electricity in the cabins, no phone and no running water! Bliss! When we got to the cabin we were given a quick tour of the area. There were four cabins on site, although all were empty for the week we were there. We had a Sauna we could use and there was a wash room with showers that we were aloud to use once every other day, there was a generator we could use in there to charge things and have a hot shower! The two hot showers I had were one of the high lights of our stay! We had no inside toilet, just an outhouse, which was pretty cold! So after our brief explanation of how everything works Scott left us, he would be back in three days to take us snowmobiling, until then, we were on our own!

Our cabin was very basic but very nice. A small area downstairs that contained two chairs and a table, a little kitchen unit, a bed and most importantly a massive wood burner! Then there was a ladder leading to a small platform upstairs where there was a mattress, this was to be by bed for the next five nights. We had a few oil lamps which Scott had showed us how to use, hed showed us how the cooker worked and where to get our wood for the fire from. There were basic utensils in the drawers, simple plates and few cups and glasses. All very cheap and cheerful but fine for what we needed. There was a selection of books to read, I imagine people had just left these behind having read them as there was a really wide variety of titles. The cabin felt very homely and super cosy, just what we needed.

The Scenery & Wildlife

The five days we spent exploring the area were so magical. We were on the side of Lake Laberge which is a massive lake that runs for 30 miles. The lake was frozen solid so we were able to walk on it no problems. The beauty of the place was amazing. When the sun came out the place came alive, the views were stunning, the cold was not a problem when we wrapped up warm, and the quiet was simply deafening! I could not get my head round the fact that there was no one within miles of us! It was pure wilderness! At one point when carrying a pan through the trees back to our cabin I was giddy with how alone we were. I got a stick and starting banging my pan and singing at the top of my voice, nobody would hear me, so it didnt matter how out of tune I was! I didnt care! All around the hills were covered in trees which all sagged from the weight of the snow, the mountains were spectacular and really impressive and the whole scene just looked like it had been put there out of someones imagination.

The nature in the area was something else. Admittedly we only saw a few birds and a squirrel. In winter we were told the chances of seeing anything of note was slim. But while we were out with Scott he showed us the tracks of a pack of wolves, a moose, lynx, cougars and a few other things I would have loved to have seen. On our second day out me and Tom had seen some really big footprints and we had decided it was a bear! When we were with Scott we showed Scott the prints and asked what they were, two rabbits he told us. We decided to keep it to ourselves what we had previously thought! We were also informed there were actually many bears in the area, including some pretty nasty Grizzlies, but in winter they are all fast asleep and are no threat, unlike the rabbits! However in summer a shotgun is a good idea when you are out and about! We were told of a man nearby who had been killed going to the toilet, this meant every time nature called I was a little on edge!

Activities

To fill our days we had a few activities planned. We went snowshoeing for an afternoon. This was hard work but easier than tramping through the snow with just normal boots on. I think the hardest part was actually putting the shoes on, we opted for the old fashioned ones that look like tennis rackets. They are quite tricky as you have to get your foot hooked into place and then wrap the chords over your feet. When you are walking you need to imagine you are John Wayne and walk with you your feet very wide apart, its tricky to get the hang of but when mastered you soon get used to it. If you ever get the chance to give this a try I would say its well worth it as it is quite a fun experience.

We also did a day of dog sledding which was wonderful. Scott had booked this for us and Ned and Janine arrived one morning to take us out for the day. We were given a sled each and a team of six dogs. After a quick lesson on how to control the dogs we were off speeding along the lake. One thing to mention about this is how cold it was! With a gentle breeze the wind chill just plummets and it really did feel cold. Our dog sledding lasted about five hours which included stopping for some lunch. Janine made us a fire and we sat round warming ourselves and cooking hot dogs. One thing I learned is that singing to your dogs actually encourages them to run faster. I was in a great mood and a long way from our guides or my friend Tom so I assumed nobody could hear me, I merrily sang away for quite a while. When we stopped Janine came over and told me she had enjoyed my singing, I was mortified to discover she had some how managed to hear me over the drone of her snow mobile. She lau ghed but said when she is out with her dogs she sings to them and this encourages them and keeps them focused! So there you go, Andys top tip of the day! All in all this was a magical experience and one I would strongly recommend!

We also did a few tours on the Snowmobiles. Scott returned with his friend Kirk to take us out. Kirk is a legend in the area, he is a bush man who works in TV. He has filmed with the BBC, and recently took Bear Grills out to help him put a show together. He had some great stories. The snowmobiling was amazing. The first day we did it we had a quick practice out on the lake to get us used to the machines and then we were off on the trails. Flying through the trees at nearly 30mph is pretty intense. We were told to go at a speed we felt comfortable with but we tried to keep up with Scott for the most part, and wow they get some speed on those things! Our tops speed was 45mph out on the lake, but Kirks machine got up to over 100mph! These are some serious toys that can be great fun!

We also did a late night tour on the snowmobiles. This was to see the Northern Lights which was a big reason for being there. More on that in a bit! We again went on to some of the trails and it was so exciting flying through the trees in the dark. We also went out onto the lake, at one point we were all stood on the ice looking up at the stars. Shushhhh said Scott. We both froze. Listen. We heard what sounded like distant thunder, a soft rumble, then a crack and another deep rumble. What is it? we asked in unison. Its the ice cracking beneath us. I nearly wet myself! I was convinced I was about to be swallowed forever in the frozen waters below my feet. However Scott assured us this was normal and there was no danger, the ice shifts around and makes strange sounds. We experienced this again on another occasion, and I must admit it still felt very unnerving.

While we were out with Scott he took us right down the lake to a small hamlet. He said he had some friends there he hadn't seen in ages. 'Want to experience some Yukon hospitality?' he asked us. We shrugged, it was 11pm! We came off the lake and into someones yard. The lights were on so Scott went and knocked. He waved us over and we were welcomed by an grinning lady, Irene. She asked us in and sat us down with her husband Gus. She took our coats and gloves, boots and outer shells and warmed them by the fire. Then Gus got out his Whisky, Irene made us fried egg butties and gave us the tour of the house. We were there till 1am! These were some of the nicest friendliest people I had ever met. After stuffing us with fruit cake they said there goodbyes and told us to visit anytime. After five glasses of Whisky I was a little worried about the 15 mile ride home, but the cold air soon sobered me up and Scott kept the speeds down.

There are plenty of other activities you can get involved in while you are in the Yukon. In the winter you can go skiing or snowboarding, there are a few decent resorts in the area that are well worth a visit. In summer you can go hiking, or canoeing down the rivers or lakes. Taking a guide on anything like this is highly recommended as its so easy to get lost and the threat from bears is very real. If you are feeling plush you can charter a plane. This is something we would loved to have done but could not afford, you can do day trips over the mountains and up to Alaska, some of the sight are supposedly stunning and if you do have the money it is well worth getting involved in this.

The Elusive Aurora

Our experience of the wilderness of the Yukon was simply perfect, except for one small detail! One of the big pulls to the area had been the world famous Aurora or Northern Lights. The Yukon is one of the best places in the world to see the displays. Mid winter is the best time and we even picked a week when there was no moon in the sky to improve our chances. However we were disappointed. We had a few clear nights and when we were out on the lake Scott showed us a faint green glow on the horizon, but certainly nothing to get excited about. This year (2009/2010) had been one the worst on record for activity. The lights run on an eleven year cycle, we were told that 2012 was going to be the best year for some time for activity. Many people go to the Yukon just for the lights, I'm so glad we did so much more while we were there. Even though we were disappointed it does give us a reason to go back!

There are several companies in the Yukon that offer Aurora tours. Most of these run from the town of Whitehorse. You can go out for a few hours or you can go out for a few days. These trips range in price depending upon what your after, some offer stay overs in massive cabins with lots of luxury. Some are just camping out beneath the stars. There are lots of different options to suit different needs and budgets. To be honest though, if the Aurora is in full flow, all you need to do is go out and look up! This is certainly the cheapest option!

Goodbyes

After our five nights in the cabin we returned to Whitehorse. Before we went into town Scott took us back to his house to meet his family. We spent an hour chatting with his wife and kids while we had some lunch. Again the hospitality of these people amazed me! That afternoon Kirk took us on an amazing snowmobile ride up into the mountains. We reached the top of a 5000 ft peak! The views were not great as the clouds were down but we covered nearly 40 miles in that afternoon and saw some more of the amazing Yukon scenery. Kirk was constantly stopping to tell us things about the area and tell us his amusing stories.

I was genuinely sad when we had to say our goodbyes to Scott and Kirk. They had made us feel so welcome and I think they had enjoyed spending time with us as well. We were told we simply must return in the summer and have a go at tackling the Yukon river. Another wonderful experience we were told was not to be missed. Both me and Tom said we would love to return on day be it in winter or in the summer.

The last two days of our trip were in Whitehorse itself which I won't go into detail about as I have already done a separate review on Whitehorse. So check that out if your interested. Other places of note in Yukon are pretty limited. Dawson City lies way to the North and sits near the border of Alaska. This only has a population of about 1000 and is really just an old Gold Rush town. Other than that the Yukon is a vast untamed wilderness.

How to Survive

Here is an idea of what you need to stay warm in the winter conditions that we experienced. I wore a nice thick pair of thermal pants, and then a thick pair of snowboarding pants over the top. On top I wore a thermal vest top, a thick T-shirt, a thin jumper, a thick jumper and then a big snow boarding coat. On my head I wore a balaclava, a small beanie hat and then a big hat that came down over my ears and neck. On my feet I had a thin pair of socks, some big think walking socks and then some fur lined winter boots. I wore a thin pair of gloves followed by a big thick pair. And then I put some gaiters over the top of my boots and pants. Getting dressed was quite a hassle, but we were never cold when we were out, this is something you must get right in the Yukon. If you get cold when you out you can end up dead, thats how serious it is!

When venturing out we also took a rucksack with plenty of food and hot drinks in. We also carried matches and paper to start a fire if needed. Be both carried a plastic survival bag, these are high visibility and do keep you a little bit warmer, they fold down neatly and just sit in the bottom of your pack. We also kept spare hats, gloves and other cloths just in case we got cold. A knife and basic medical pack is essential and the ability to use it, if you break your leg out here your on your own! We also took our head torches and plenty of spare batteries. Even though these things seem pretty simple they could end up saving your life.

Fancy A Go Yourself?

If this has inspired you to visit the Yukon then Ive obviously done my job well! But how exactly do you go about getting there? Well to get to the Yukon you would have to fly into Whitehorse like we did. However there are no flights from the UK direct. We first went to Vancouver and then got another flight using a company called Air North. You can also fly from Calgary to Whitehorse. Flights to Vancouver cost us around 450 and then another 210 to fly from Vancouver up to Whitehorse. I imagine the prices are similar if you go via Calgary. So it is by no means a cheap place to visit. One thing I would love to try is driving. Flying to Vancouver then driving up through British Columbia and up into the Yukon. The drive is almost a thousand miles but is through some of the most impressive mountain scenery anywhere on the planet! This would be a great drive in the summer, you may struggle in the winter but roads are usually kept open no matter what the weather. There used to be a train that went up to Whitehorse but this has not been running for many years and there was simply no demand.

Overall Impressions

Overall you can probably guess how I feel about the Yukon. It was simply the most wonderful experience of my life. The memories I have from that week are second to none, the photos I took were stunning and every aspect of the trip was just so enjoyable. The people are the friendliest Ive ever met, I made lots of new friends who I would love to go back and visit. The wildlife is diverse and exciting, the prospect of seeing wolves and bears constantly had me excited. The scenery was breath taking, I have tried to give you an idea of what we experienced but sometimes its hard to put things like this into words. You simply have to see it to believe it.

The Yukon is one of the worlds great wilderness playgrounds. It can be a dangerous and harsh environment, but if you take precautions and be sensible it can be one of the most exciting places on earth to visit. It you are the adventurous sort then this is somewhere I strongly recommend. I realise its not for everyone, but if you want some where wild and remote and full of adventure then the Yukon is ideal. Go and experience some true wilderness, head North, head to the Yukon!

Clairaudience And Psychic Ability

Clairaudience is the gift of hearing voices, sounds, or music within the psychic plane. This type of intuitive perception may either be an external process or an internal process. In either case, one is gathering their psychic information through the practice of a highly sensitized concentration on auditory information. Clairaudient psychics have the difficult task of sorting out the information they receive. The difficulty lies in the psychics need to differentiate their own, personal thoughts, voices and sounds to those of true psychic communication and knowledge.

Psychics often have developed their own unique methods for listening as their sources of information can come from various places. Clairaudience can occur spontaneously or through practiced meditation. The most common type of clairaudience is the phenomenon that occurs in trance like states. These are the experiences in which the psychic can hear messages from angels, spirits, guides, and even the dead. Clairaudience is also associated to mediums. Mediums are individuals who have the ability to hear messages from different frequencies or energies. A common form of clairaudience for the psychic medium is the ability to communicate with the dead or after life. Mediums have the unique gift in validating the concept that there is, indeed, a life after death. One of their main objectives is to verify the survival of the human soul after its death. This can be incredibly comforting for those who are in the process of grieving the loss of a loved one.

When one has a session with a medium, the topics covered rarely include prophetic information. In other words, mediums usually are not fortunetellers. Medium are more likely to serve as a confirmation that a deceased loved one is still part of this world; their souls have not ended in death. They simply have moved on to a new place. We all can practice our clairaudient skills. This easiest method includes developing a communication with your guides, angels or divine spirits. All you really need to do is ask to hear their voices. Its also important to recognize that you may have more than one guide, so the voices may differ. You may hear things internally in your own voice or you may hear other voices. You are always welcome to ask for the voices name and purpose. You will be amazed at the answers you will get.

Love Tarot Readings: Using The Tarot to Find Love

Without doubt, the most common inquiry during a Tarot reading is about love. It often seems as though true love is something that is outside of ones self, that it is an external force or act of fate that we have little control of. In truth, finding love begins within our own selves. Love is a genesis that manifests within our own inner beings. A happy and successful relationship starts with our selves.

The best relationships are those in which both partners have discovered who they are. When one develops a strong sense of self, their partnerships are more likely to flourish. With self-awareness and self-knowledge one is more capable of expressing their feelings and setting appropriate boundaries. They can recognize their own needs and the needs of their partners. More importantly, for someone that is single, they can recognize the traits in a potential partner that will work or wont work.

When an individual consults the Tarot about love matters, most tarot readers and psychics tend to focus directly on the current energy of someones love life. They often fail to recognize the influence of someones own belief systems or behavioral patterns. During a Tarot reading, its really up to the individual to ask the tarot reader or psychic to explore the topic of ones own level of self-development and how this might be influencing their love life. A good psychic tarot reader can pick up on this immediately. Questions of love should shift focus. Instead of asking, when will I find love? Try exploring the areas that are blocking you from finding love. Here are some questions that can be quite useful during a love tarot reading.

The more you learn about yourself, the more likely you are to meet the perfect love match. Its important to remember that when one utilizes the Tarot for love, the Tarot serves as an oracle. Tarot reading is a tool for self-development and growth. In truth, the Tarot is a tool that is available to anyone who wishes to explore their own, inner workings. It is an incredibly effective method for delving into the deeper areas of our own selves that affect our current relationships. Tarot readings never fail to disclose the secrets of ourselves that remain out of sight.

Tarot reading serves as a guide. They are mirrors that reflect our own truths back to us. In love matters, the Tarot can lead us towards the manifestation of our goals and dreams. They reveal our vulnerabilities and the areas that prevent us from thriving. In love, the Tarot can discover what influences us and highlights situations that we may have been unaware of. Most importantly, the tarot offers us a new sense of awareness of who we are. In the end, Tarot reading can open us to love.

Accurate Online Psychic Reader

Online psychic reading remains one of the proven ways of getting the best of psychic services. There are so many challenges which can make one to turn to services of psychic reader. It could be a matter that is related to one's love life, or a family related matter, it could be for the advancement of one's career, or perhaps a matter about somebody's finance. There are many reasons why people look for the services of psychic readers. These days it is no longer difficult to come across psychic readers as some of them are online. The internet remains the easiest and best way to contact the services of a psychic reader.

I am going to guide you on the practical tips which if you use you can land to an accurate and best psychic reader online. The first thing that you have to do is to search online and you will see different websites offering psychic services; the truth is that many of these service providers are genuine while quite number of them are not. The problem has always being how to separate the good from the bad. The trick you should use here is to try free reading first. Most of the service providers do offer free psychic reading services as a means of convincing you to be his customer.

Any reader who refuses to offer the free psychic reading for you has to be avoided. It is through the free reading that you should be able to determine whether the service provider is accurate or not.

If you try the service for free and you find it good you can go ahead and pay. The services of a great psychic and accurate psychic reader cannot go for a peanut. It is always advisable not to rely solely on the trial free services given to you as the final solution to your psychic problems.

Once convinced of the quality of service a provider can offer the next thing that you must consider is to set out a budget. I do not agree that one should spend a fortune of his lifetime just to get a psychic reading. You can always find a psychic reader that suits the amount you have in your pocket.

Secondary, it is advised that service seekers always engage the professionals that belonged to a psychic network. The network is the place where one can have access to all skills and talents in the psychic industry. There are numerous advantages in enlisting for the services of a network, I mean reputable networks. Anybody who engages the services of a network will never go unsatisfied. The network is under obligation to provide accurate service. If you are not satisfied with one reader another reading can always be done by the network.

While engaging the services of online psychic reader, you are advised to say less and listen more attentively. An accurate psychic reader would not need you to say everything about yourself before he starts to help you. It is only an unreliable psychic reader who will require you to divulge all your information before he starts to help you. Any online reader who would demand all the information from you before he helps you will never provide reliable service.

You have to get yourself organized before searching online for psychic readers. You should supply the sensitive information like your bio data. It is necessary to have your answers to the information handy before contacting them. Finally you should put your questions concisely and clearly too so that it will be easy for the online reader to understand clearly your problems.

Ten ways to improve your psychic abilities

So you want to improve your psychic abilities? We all have them, but like muscles, they have to be properly and strongly developed to work well. Also, we must make ourself far more sensitive to the other realms, realities and dimensions that interact with our three-dimensional reality. Sometimes, we need to clear the distractions and the psychic "static" that permeates our consciousness. As a researcher/experiencer, who has over thirty years of researching the paranormal behind him, here are ten steps in no particular order:

A good way to develop your psychic abilities is to use divination tools like Tarot cards, ordinary playing cards, runes and other divination-tools to help improve your abilities. Do a reading every few days for people around you. This helps to strengthen psychic ability by working the areas of your brain responsible for ESP and other paranormal abilities. Over time, like exercise, those areas of your brain will strengthen considerably and your readings will get clearer and more accurate in predicting the future.

But like any other physical/mental ability, they will diminish considerably if you don't use them. If you don't run for three months, you're going to gasp for air, with strained leg muscles. Run on a continuous basis and the odds are that you'll run smoothly and more powerfully. Do tarot readings and other divinatory-tool readings every other day or so and you'll be astonished by the results. You don't have to be a great psychic, like Nostradamus, to give very accurate readings about the future of your friends, or world events. Psychic abilities can be developed, but some people are born more naturally psychic, like Nostradamus or others.

In developing one's psychic abilities, can give an individual a greater awareness of the 'hidden', interdimensional realities that are everywhere. Realities that quantum physicists are starting to recognize in their research of at least eleven other dimensions of time and space. In developing such an awareness, helps to clear the static and distractions that can prevent us from "tuning" into these other realities. Instead of getting an HD signal, we get a very old and dated analog-signal that is blurred and distorted to us. Developing these abilities moves the signal into High-Definition-with fantastic optimized audio.

You can also develop your psychic abilities by calling on your spiritual guides, of other dimensional realities, to give you an answer to a pressing problem or crisis in your life. This also helps to build up one's telepathic abilities. Also, think of a family member, friend, or other loved one intensely for an hour. The odds are that they'll contact you very shortly afterwards. Haven't we all thought of somebody and they phoned or emailed us very shortly afterwards? Such excersises will greatly improve your telepathic abilities over time and clear the "background noise" and "distortsion" of the signal as not only you develop these abilities but become more acutely aware of them, tuning in much better and receiving your solid HD signal.

There is no doubt that I may have more natural psychic abilities than the average person. But anybody can substantially improve these abilities. Before you go to sleep, "program" your subconscious to show you a dream of some future event. Do it over and over again until you can see and remember it with the HD clarity. In most cases, it will not take long. Within a few weeks, most people will have some kind of prophetic dream that will shock them. The odds are that they'll already have had some kind of psychic dream already. They may just not have been aware of it, shrugging it off, or not having enough details to piece together its meaning. Through development and the awareness that goes with it, people are going to realize that their consciousness is separate from our three-dimensional reality, is timeless, and can move faster than light speed through our development of those psychic areas of ouyr brain.

Stare at an object and try and move it. Telekinetic abilities are the hardest to develop. But if you can develop it, other abilities may come far more easier. But this is a hard excersise, so it may take much longer. Work on it every other day. But don't exhaust yourself doing it. Try and move a light object in the beginning, such as a rubber ball, before proceeding to a larger one. If you can't don't worry about it. The other excersises will bring out these psychic abilities far more.

Try this psychic ability: astral projection. Lay back on your bed and think about a destination that you'll want to visit via your astral body. Most of us astral project without ever realizing it. If you can do it in a controlled fashion with some degree of control over your destinations, you are on a fast track to improving your psychic abilities. Maybe you'll end up visiting the spiritual planes of existence and see departed loved ones.

Do what I did, try and record spirit voices onto blank recording tape, digital (or through a computer). Think of deceased loved one or friend, ask them a question, and leave the recording device recording against complete silence. Within time, you'll have eerie-sounding spirit voices.

Staring into a bowl of clear water or a mirror, concentrate on seeing images from the future.

Using Psychic Intuition to Leave a Relationship

More times than not breaking off a relationship can be an unnecessarily prolonged and painful process. You've just poured all your energy into trying to make your relationship work and you are left feeling hurt, disillusioned and betrayed. You are consumed by what went wrong, what you could have done differently and what's going to happen when your ex meets someone new.

What you may fail to recognize, however, is that deep down inside you've known all along that your relationship wasn't what you truly wanted nor wasn't all that you thought it was. Listening to your own psychic intuition can help you identify when you need to walk away. Psychic intuition is your greatest ally as it always reveals your own personal truth. It is always within you. Learning how to listening to it, however, may be a skill that needs to be developed.

Psychic intuition is incredibly helpful when you are identifying whether or not you should leave your relationship. By learning how to listen to your psychic intuition, your decision will come with ease. Although breaking up is never easy, you can trust that you are doing the right thing for both you and your partner.

Here's a great exercise that can help you learn how to access your own psychic intuition:

Celebrity Psychics and How Much They Charge

Psychic Bang for Your Buck

Welcome to the new breed of celebrity. No they are not actors or singers, although some do have their own television shows. They are celebrity psychics. Talking to the dead and predicting the future has become big business.

Shows like John Edward Cross Country, Psychic Detectives and Psychic Kids, featuring Chip Coffee, have hit the air waves. Let us not forget that even Montel Williams had Psychic Sylvia Browne Wednesdays! Psychics are becoming more mainstream in the media. No longer are the days of whispering " I went to see a psychic" are needed. No longer do you need to fear a negative response. Now, more than likely the person you tell will want to know how it went, and who did you see!

Have you ever thought about seeing a psychic or a medium? Maybe you have already visited one. How much did they charge, and what did you get for your buck? Celebrity psychics offer a vast array of opportunities to connect with them. Many offer venues where tons of people attend, in hopes of getting a reading. While others also offer private one on one readings. If you aren't able to see a celebrity psychic in person, have no fear. Many have authored books teaching you, how you can become psychic too, and tap into your own abilities. You can even find psychics on shopping networks, selling their goods!

With all these opportunities to have your future read or to get a message from your deceased loved one, no wonder people are interested. How great would it be to know what might happen in your future, or to get a message from dad who has passed away years ago. It would be an amazing experience. But, you might be asking yourself how much does it cost? Well we all know television stars, movie stars, and singers make a pretty good buck being a celebrity. Psychics and mediums are no different. They get paid pretty good for their talents too.

Now let us take a take a look at a few psychics and mediums, and see what they offer and what they charge. First off, let us start with the star of John Edward Cross Country. John not only has his own television show now, but also had another hit show. Crossing Over, which was titled after one of his best selling books. If your trying to get a one on one reading with him, good luck. According to John Edward's website, he is not accepting any new private readings at this time. You might instead attend a seminar, or a group event for a chance to see him in action. list a ticket price at $175.00 a ticket, plus a $7.00 service charge and another $2.50 handling fee. Remember though, you are not guaranteed a reading. The usual attendance for a group event is 500 people and under.

Now if your more of a Chip Coffee fan, he does offer personal, one on one readings. He is the star of his own show called Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal. You can also catch him on certain episodes of Paranormal State, lending his psychic expertise. According to Chip Coffee's website, a general reading, lasting approximately 30 minutes with Chip, will run you $200. He also offers a "Spirit Contacts" reading, lasting approximately 30-40 minutes, for $500. For these readings, an additional person may attend for an additional cost of $250 per person. Now if your lucky, you might be able to catch chip at an event. For example he is appearing at The Mount Washington Hotel event April 23rd through the 26th, 2010. You can purchase a ticket to his gallery readings there for only $30. Just remember at gallery readings, you are not guaranteed a reading. Chip does attend different events through out the year, and we find his tickets charge for those who attend are very reaso nable. So if you would just be happy seeing Chip in action, you can check out his web site for a list of those events. You might even get lucky there and receive a reading for yourself.

Okay, so you say you are more of a Sylvia Browne fan. You have read all her books and you have watched her countless of times on Montel Williams. Now your wondering what it would cost to receive a one on one reading with her. Have no fear, we have the information for that too. According to Sylvia Browne's website, she charges $850 for a reading that last approximately 20-30 minutes. If you think that is a little too expensive, then you can always get a reading from her son, Chris Dufresne. He charges $500 for his readings that last approximately 20-30 minutes. We have found that Sylvia offers a variety of programs, where you can connect with her. If you would just like to spend the day with her, and approximately 35-45 other people, you can do so. Just attend a "Spiritual Salon", that she offers. There Sylvia discusses a variety of topics with you and the group. The fee to attend a "Spiritual Salon" is $1000. Now Sylvia also holds seminar events too. She has different pric e levels according to seating arrangements. Generally her cheapest seats are around $50. Not a bad price if you would like to see Sylvia in action.

Now you know how much some of your favorite psychics charge for their services. It is up to you to decide it the price tag is worth it.

Pet Psychics the Modern Day Dr. Doolittle

Now not only can you receive a psychic reading, but your beloved pet can too. Pet Psychics are the modern day Dr. Dolittle, claiming they can too "talk to the animals." The concept of having your pet read by a psychic is becoming more mainstream. Many celebrities and even animal trainers are using pet psychics to communicate with their animals.

Would you like to know why Fluffy runs and hides every time your mother in law comes for a visit? Maybe your dog Spot seems to be a bit depressed lately, and you can't figure out why. Now you can consult a pet psychic to help you find the answers. Animal communicators, as they are sometimes called, can help you find out what is on your pet's mind, or even help you locate a missing animal. Dog and cats are not the only animals that pet psychics can communicate with. They are able to connect with a vast array of animals, some of which include lizards, birds and even snakes!

According to The American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, 2007-2008 National Pet Owners Survey, there are approximately 74.8 million owned dogs in the United States. When it comes to cats, there are approximately 88.3 million owned cats in the United States. No wonder American is fascinated by the possibility of being able to communicate with their furry friends.

Now are you wondering, just how do pet psychics talk to your pets? Well you won't find any tarot cards, crystal balls, or even a pendulum involved. They communicate with your pet through telepathy. They simply ask your pet questions with their mind, and wait for your pet to telepathically answer them back. Pet psychics tell us we communicate with our beloved animals this way everyday. Pets can hear our thoughts, and actually respond to what we are thinking. Haven't you ever known Spot needed to go out before he ran to the door to alert you. It just might be that you "heard" Spot letting you know he needed a potty break. He actually sent you that message from his mind to yours, without ever barking a word.

Animal Communicator Sonya Fitzpatrick, is one of the more famous pet psychics. Animal planet hosted her show, "The Pet Psychic", from June 2002 until its lasts airing in January 2003. If you had a chance to watch the show, it really was fascinating. She communicated with a vast array of animals, and helped many pet owners to better understand their pet's needs and wants.

If you and your dog Spot are contemplating having session with an animal communicator you might be asking yourself, "how much does it cost?" Readings from pet psychics vary in prices. According to Sonya Fitzpatrick's website, she charges $300 for a half hour reading. That might seem steep to some pet owners. Others might believe that is a reasonable price for the opportunity to connect with their pets on a whole new level. In the end it is up to you, to decide if it is worth it. There are a vast array of pet psychics who offer their abilities for varying prices. The best advice when choosing one for yourself, is to do your homework. Be sure to check out references. Word of mouth is a great way to learn about a pet psychic's reputation for accuracy.

Our beloved pets really do become part of the family. We buy them Christmas presents, take their pictures, and even make sure they have that special treat they love so much. Having an opportunity to actually communicate with your pet via a pet psychic is a very attractive idea.

How to Increase Psychic Powers and Psychic Abilities with Crystals

This article will attempt to explain how to use crystals to enhance your psychic abilities. It will also explain how and why it works.

First, though there are some simple truths you must understand and accept in order to fully gain the most from your psychic work with crystals.

1) Crystals retain psychic information.

2) Crystals emit psychic information.

3) Psychic information in transferred through emotion, desire and visualization.

For the purpose of explaining the use of crystals in the enhancement of psychic ability, I am only referring to clear, crystal quartz points. Not tumbled quartz rounds or cabachons.

Crystals are found within the earth and the areas where they are uncovered is the first clue as to the type of energy that particular point has. All crystals develop over eons and that development is directly affected by where they develop. If a quartz developed within the holy confines of a Buddhist monastery, think how the inherent energy of that crystal would differ from a crystal that developed next to, say, a concentration camp. Remember, crystals store psychic information and psychic information is transferred through emotion, desire and visualization. Every single emotion within the energy field of development is recorded within the crystal as it forms!

Back to the here and now, you're in your local New Age gift shop and you see a bin filled with quartz crystal points. You reach in and rolled the cool points around in your fingertips. You're like,"yeah, I want one of these," and your phone rings. You see that it's the friend you've been avoiding because she hurt your feelings. Your thoughts turn to the incident and you become angry or sad, all while your hand is still in this bin of crystals. You've just transferred your psychic impressions into everything you're touching!

The next person comes along and may feel angry or sad as she feels the crystals. She's confused because she thought crystals were supposed to feel "good", but she's picking up the psychic impression you just left behind. She feels sad, now, thanks to the emotion you transferred, and she transfers a little more sad energy into the bin, and walks away. I've noticed in such stores that you'll often see a few people using their own psychic or healing energy to clear and cleanse the open stock crystals. They are doing this out of love, for the crystals and for the eventual recipients, I think. Besides, the whole place feels better when all those crystals are "clear".

Okay, now we know that where the crystal develops and the retail source it comes from directly affects the properties. The first cannot be changed. If a crystal is created within a negative psychic environment, it is what it is and nothing can be done to alter its inherent properties.

The second, the infusion of psychic impressions after the crystal is fully developed, can be altered. This process is often called "cleansing" or "clearing". I use the two terms as one and the same.

To clear your quartz crystal of psychic impressions introduced after it has been unearthed is very simple and it can be done in more than one way. I'll briefly describe the methods I prefer and use myself.

1) Rinse your crystal under clear, running water. Well water is the best, but city water works, too. As you hold the crystal under the flow of water, you may feel the energy becoming "thinner". Often, the energy of a crystal begins as feeling almost thick, like it has a sticky texture around it. You probably won't "see" it but you can most likely feel it. Allowing the water to clear it tends to remove lower psychic vibrations - the psychic vibrations that we feel most easily - such as sadness, fear, anger. As these lower frequencies are literally washed away, the higher frequency vibrations are more readily felt. And because these higher frequencies require a heightened sense of psychic awareness to feel, they may feel "thinner" as opposed to the "thickness" of the lower vibrations.

2) Another method I like is to cover the crystal in sea salt, or even epsom salts, and allow it to stay there, undisturbed, for 24 hours. Notice that I didn't say cover it in salt water.Doing this may break down the crystal, making it weak and vulnerable to scarring or pitting. By placing the crystal in sea salt, you are in effect allowing any negative psychic impressions to be drawn out, naturally, and to be absorbed by the salt. When you're done, throw the salt away - I do not recommend reusing it.

3) Set the crystal in the sun for a few hours. You may even be able to physically see the difference in the clarity of the stone after doing this. It's pretty exciting. Now that you have a crystal that is clear, it is ready to "work" for you.

1) Hold the crystal in one hand and cup it with the other. It does not matter which hand you use or if you're left or right handed.

2) Focus on the emotion or desire that you want to impart within the crystal. If the crystal is to increase psychic abilities say to yourself something like,"My psychic abilities increase ten-fold every time I pick up this crystal" or "I enhance my psychic abilities by holding this crystal". What you say isn't nearly as important as the desire and pure emotion you back the words up with. FEEL what you want and visualize it or see it entering the crystal. If you can't visualize very well then just imagine it and know that it is happening. Remember: psychic impressions are always conveyed via emotion and desire and visualization. "Visualization" is called "imagination" in some psychic training courses. They are the same. So, if you can't visualize easily then just imagine that it's happening. Your emotion and desire will make it so.

3) Be specific. Always keep the affirmation or psychic impression in the now and keep it positive. "I increase my psychic abilities" is specific, now and positive. "I will be more psychic one day" is specific, but it's in the future (will be and one day) and it isn't very positive by stating that what you want can only occur in the future. One day never gets here because the universe only exists in the here and now. This affirmation process is commonly referred to as "charging" the crystal. "Charging" just means "programming". You are "charging it" or "programming it" with your own psychic impression.

4) Use the crystal! Are you reading a book about psychic development? Hold the crystal as you read - you'll psychically transmit what you're reading into the crystal. And, of course, you will be able to more readily recall the information, by way of psychic impression, or memory, when you use the crystal. Need to make a decision and can't decide? Hold your psychic-infused crystal and ask yourself what you should do. Keep it simple, especially in the beginning. "Do I choose "A" or "B"?" You'll receive the answer in way of feeling or thought or emotion. Pay attention. This is your psychic self working with you and for you by way of the crystal.

Each time you use your psychic crystal, you are increasing its vibratory field and making it an even more powerful psychic tool.

I hope you've enjoyed reading this article about using crystals to help develop psychic abilities.

Tarot Cards-What's The Harm Right?

Tarot Cards: What Are They? Tarot cards, sometimes called "the book of divination of the gypsies," are known traditionally as a deck of 78 cards with various pictures on them. They have been used for hundreds of years to reveal hidden truths about and foresee the future of the person receiving the card reading. Tarot card decks come in many varieties-one online tarot card encyclopedia lists 70 major varieties of tarot cards ranging from "Tarot of the Cat People" to "Halloween Tarot" to "Dali Universal Tarot" designed by the famous artist, Salvador Dali. There is much speculation over the origin of tarot cards. Did they really originate with the gypsies, or did they come from medieval Europe? Others have maintained that tarot cards came from China or ancient Egypt. A few decades ago, tarot cards were instantly associated with gypsies, but today the cards are just as popular among occultists and New Agers. Whatever their origin, there doesn't seem to be any argument that after being introduced to Western Europe in the 14th or 15th century, their use has spread, and today they can be found all over the world.

Tarot Cards: What's in a Deck? The tarot card deck is made up of essentially two parts: 56 pictorial cards that are surprisingly similar to a regular deck of playing cards and 22 additional cards called the major arcane. These cards include pictures with names such as the Fool, the Devil, Temperance, the Hermit, the Sun, the Lovers, the Juggler, the Hanged Man, and Death. Those who believe in tarot and have their cards read regularly say that the readings help them prepare for the future by not only revealing truths about their lives, but also by divulging secrets about people all around them. Experienced psychic tarot card readers claim that they are the only ones who can deliver a truthful reading and caution against just reading interpretations out of the book that comes with the cards. In order to get the best reading from the cards, the one who desires the reading must concentrate on the cards with the psychic reader, and the psychic reader helps that person make contact with the cards and put their own "special vibration" on the deck so the cards will reveal all their mysteries. Readers of tarot cards lay the cards out in special combinations called spreads. In these spreads, it becomes possible for the reader to see a detailed, pictorial representation of the situation for which their client has come to them. In a traditional 10-card spread called the Celtic Cross, a reader can look at the positions of the cards and determine what past actions have contributed to or caused the situation, and based on current events in the client's life, and the "energy" of the cards, what will most likely occur in the future.

Tarot Cards: What's the Harm? The use of tarot cards does not seem to be a religion in the sense that it does not involve the worship of deities. However, in another sense, it is very much a religion (or some would say obsession) when it becomes a practice or activity that someone is completely devoted to. At some point, it can take on cultish or occultish aspects. In fact, there are many people who place tarot cards in the same category as other occult fortune-telling techniques such as the ouija board, astrology, crystal balls, palmistry, and tea leaves. Of course, some maintain that tarot cards are just harmless fun. Tarot cards fit in well with the New Age movement that is so prevalent these days. New Agers use certain practices or methods to "get in touch with their inner spirits," and tarot cards can be a perfect way for them to channel their thoughts and connect with the "Oneness of the Universe."

So where is the harm in tarot cards? If those who use tarot cards are not worshipping Satan and are not conjuring up evil spirits or sacrificing virgins, how can tarot cards possibly be a danger to anyone? Oddly enough the danger of tarot cards is admitted within the ranks of tarot card readers themselves. The readers cannot explain how the tarot readings work, and the decision to use a particular system in reading the cards is entirely a matter of the personal preference of the reader. In other words, two readers could read the same spread of cards and come up with entirely different interpretations of those cards. Tarot card readers also say that the tarot can only provide a static "photograph" of a situation, and that our own choices and actions determine our future-not the cards. If this is the case, why use the tarot cards at all?

Tarot Cards: No Hope for the Future Tarot cards represent the fact that we all want to know what the future has in store for us. One could argue that it's actually commendable to want to make good decisions in the present based on our knowledge of the future. However, since the future hasn't happened yet, there is no power here on earth that can tell us what's in store. In order to have a hope for the future and gain the wisdom to make sound decisions now, we must tap into the power of the Creator of the universe - the only One who knows our future - God. Your future is written in the pages of God's Word, the Bible; and God never changes, and His Word is not open to multiple interpretations. So, rather than basing your actions on a deck of cards and betting your future on the whims of card readers who admit that "nothing is written in stone," why not place your trust in the unchangeable God who wants to be personally involved in your future.
